Week 8 E.O.C: How To Make It In America?

 The HBO t.v series How To Make It In America describes the story of these two very different guys who meet and bond together in their dream to start a successful denim line in the rough streets of New York City one of the fashion capitals of the world. These guys consist of an F.I.T college drop out and a smart hustler with his own set of business skills. Both of them have no experience in the denim industry and have no knowledge of how to even get their denim line manufactured, so they go through these obstacles to get event a hint of information on the manuacturer of the other denim companies. They attend parties and events that have some important fashion industry related persons as guests and mingle with them to the point where they got their denim line word out and befriended these people who would be excellent sources for their company. Although they are very ambitious they are also amatures when it comes to organizing their company conversations in closed doors and not in front of a crowded place where an eaves dropper can easily retain that information and have knowledge of something only they would have been aware of. This show was unheard of in my world but its not that bad. Its a different story line and its kind of interesting in its own way.
